- arrived late at lab (9h40)
- looked at what I need to upgrade my ubuntu sytem to Hardy. I will make a backup before and need more free space on my / partition.
- meeting (10h-11h15) with Béné and Marie-Pierre. Béné’s work is progressing nicely: she corrects her PICR2 paper and the second paper is on the right track. There are still differences between MP’s simulations and Salamatin’s simulations that we do not entirely understand.
- Chated with Jean-Robert about an article ‘review of flicker noise spectroscopy in electrochemistry’ and whether this analysis could be applied to our paleo records.
- Gave EDC3_on_Vostok to JR
- scanned the Martinson et al. (QR, 1987) paper.
- 14h-15h20: meeting on the MDC recruitement.
- Brief chat with Jérôme about the oldest ice project.
- Admin for the Vienna EGU mission
- read the first NEEM sitrep.
- started to read the Fischer et al. (Nature, 200 paper on methane sources during the last deglaciation.
- tomorrow’s plan: work on Vostok modelling during the morning and conf preparation during the afternoon.
