It seems that wine is going toward the 1.0 release. Still, MS office is only partially supported. Best version to install is 2003 with a silver rating. Maybe I will try to install it if I have time. It would boot a bit faster than my vmware.

C’est vrai que ce serait inquiétant qu’il n’y ait pas d’alternative à google dans ce créneau. Même s’ils font un bon boulot et que (pour l’instant) ils sont clean, il vaut mieux ne jamais mettre tous ses oeux dans le même panier.

Décidément, je me demande où toute cette histoire s’arrêtera. A mon avis, il ne finira pas son mandat. Le moral des ménages va continuer à se dégrader, sa politique fera grincer de plus en plus de dents. Ou alors il va se mettre complétement sur la touche et c’est Fillon qui déterminera la politique, en revenant à des choses plus classiques, des réformes plus concertées et progressives, etc. C’est en fait déjà un peu ce qu’il se passe en ce moment.

- Béné’s presentation about her inverse method. About 10 people were present and interested. They participated and asked a lot of questions. We did not discuss very much about the applications because we were short in time.
- Conference on ice core sciences and climate change at Maîche between 7 pm and 10 pm, with Dominique. About 80 people were present. Dominique presented results about past climates, I presented IPCC results (present and future). I also showed my pictures from Talos Dome.

OK, it is not essential in France if you have a provider like free or neuf, but it would allow to switch to any internet connexion and to keep the same software and settings to watch the TV.
